Lucky bird

Branding, Packaging, POP, Website

Lucky Bird Fried Chicken was founded in 2018 at LA’s Grand Central Market and has since grown to a brick-and-mortar restaurant. During this growth period, Lucky Bird came to us for a full brand refresh. Working directly with the owners, we created a new look and feel by updating their logo and branding, creating a whole new website, and creating collateral for their new restaurant which included designing new menus, operational signage, and packaging for takeout, and more.

THE REBRAND — A NEW BEGINNING.

Lucky Bird wanted to reflect their growth from a single stall at Grand Central Market to a brick-and-mortar sit-down restaurant. Metaphorically, we wanted to show the baby chick “grow up” and spread its wings into a rooster. The rooster symbolizes new beginnings, good luck, and fortune. The new colors are reflective of new horizons and the California culture as the yellow and orange symbolize a sunrise into a new day, with the teal and blue representing the iconic California beaches and blue skies.
